4. Mobile Home Titles

Mobile homes are treated as personal property unless they are "affixed" to land.

  • Multiple Sections: Remember, a double-wide has two titles; a triple-wide has three. You need to transfer all of them.

  • 504 Tax Clearance: If you are moving the home, Arizona law (ARS 28-1104) requires a "504 Tax Clearance" from the County Assessor to prove all property taxes are paid up.
